Overview
CritterConnect is a shared care platform for pets and other animals. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. This page is web-owner content, not an independent certification.
Information you provide
When you create an account we collect your email address and any display name you enter. When you use the app, you may add information about your animals (name, species, photos, care logs, weights, medications, medical notes) and about your family members you invite.
How we use information
We use your information to operate the app: authenticate you, sync care logs across your family group, deliver reminders, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
Sharing within families
Members of a family group can see the animals and care logs within that group. You control who is invited. You can remove members at any time from the family settings.
Data security
We use encrypted transport (HTTPS), authenticated sessions, and row-level security so that each family group's data is isolated. No system is perfectly secure, we recommend a strong, unique password.
Data retention
We retain your account and care data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
Children
CritterConnect is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email.
